Slapdash

I admit I’m guilty of being slapdash at times when it comes to washing up 

With the result that when knifes or forks and spoons are needed, then I or someone else notices little bits of left or food, which then involves rewashing them 

Which made me wonder if being slapdash is similar to lukewarm, as in the Bible says “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out … 

As slapdash is not doing a thorough job of work, not really bothered enough to even inspect what you have done, just as lukewarm is similar in a way 

With a lack on eagerness to become motivated enough to be either hot or cold, passionate as on fire, or even cold indifference, and therefore remain neither one or the other 

I pray dear brothers and sisters in Christ, let us not be slapdash or lukewarm in our faith, rather let us be Bold and proclaim the gospel to everyone with on fire passion 

Procrastination

All of us are prone to put off everything until tomorrow, we use excuses as tools to procrastinate

Fuelled by our own laziness and dislike of any changes, can frequently spur us onto procrastination

I confess I dislike unexpected changes; it’s unsettling to find something you are comfortable with using, is suddenly changed often without warning  

There have been some changes, I have been grateful for, the main one having my sins forgiven and being freed from my addiction

I count myself fortunate to have a Saviour who is patient faithful enough to wait for me to acknowledge I was a slave to my addiction (sin) and in desperate need of His saving grace

As if I had procrastinated another tomorrow could have been too late, for me to admit my sin and that I needed His saving grace

Dear reader, if you have any sin you are still clinging onto, don’t put off confessing and asking for forgiveness, for tomorrow may be too late

Take it from me, wretched sinner that I am, nothing you enjoy and indulge in secret, will ever satisfy

Whatever sin you take pleasure in, will drag deeper into darker places

Enslaving you, make you blind to your sinfulness, it will rob you of peace and joy

Any love you once had, will become corroded, and corrupted beyond your understanding

Confess your sins, pray to Jesus to forgive you, ask Him to cleans you and made you a new creation

As to myself, I have freely given up my free will, rather than continue to missuse it, I would rather continue to be a sevent to Christ than a slave to sin

Christmas Blessings

I had meant to write this just before the blessed day but failed I will not make excuses as these are a form of lying

Though this year has been very restrictive with the unexpected virus and many hardships have followed in its wake

Even though and my family have been spared and remain healthy, I have felt downhearted

Especially leading up to Christmas day, to the point of not celebrating the special day

Then I decided not to allow the enemy to cast down my joy of knowing the Love of Jesus

I dug out the Christmas tree from its stored place and decorated it with many brand-new lights

 As a symbol of hope and shed its light on the dark winter’s nights

With each small light reminding of the many other Christians all around the world singing and praising God, for His love and the Grace offered by Jesus

My blessing to all who read and share this is May your hearts be filled with Joy and true Love

May you all find peace in the midst of troubled times, and the true comfort of God

How Many Sins are You Carrying Around?

From my own experience of how easy it is to accumulate sin because in my case I didn’t think of it as sinning

Just pleasing myself, but there lays the problem, “SELF” that illusive hidden part of human nature

Illusive and hidden, because it is hard to pinpoint exactly where it is situated within our bodies

While fooling us into thinking whatever sin we are doing is harmless and even part of the human nature

But since sinning is way too easy and briefly pleasurable, we tend not to notice how clings to us and will begin to demand attention

“SELF” is never satisfied, enough is Never enough! One sin will lead to another, even if it’s not the same sin, although it will be when you begin sinning

As the sin will become habit-forming, most times without you noticing, the more you feed SELF, the deeper and darker sinning it will lead you into

While doing so every sin will linger within you adding weight to the sins you have already

Unlike dirt and grime that can be washed off your hands or body when you bathe, Sin sticks and accumulates

Along with this unseen and unpleasant problem, all sins will rob you of any peace or rest, as they grow in strength, they become more demanding  

They will plague every moment throughout your day, and continue to weaken your resistance to indulge  

While you may want or need to give up what started as a bad habit, using your willpower, will be unsuccessful, and you will find slipping back into Sin all too easy

In order to stop sinning, you need to Die to Self, by confessing all your sins and praying for forgiveness.

For as long as Self remains, you will be enslaved, you will be worshipping your-Self (a false god)

Even if, I am unable to prove there is a Creator God

Even So, I Will Praise Him

Even if, this life was all there was

Even So, I will Live for Him alone

Even if, I may never enter into Heaven

Even So, I Will Praise Him

Even if, many may say Jesus was a fictional character

Even So, I Know He Lives and Died for me and all who believe in Him

Even if, many may mock and call me names

Even So, I care not for what men may say

Even So, I know my Saviour lives, He lives within my heart

No one can ever sway my belief in Jesus and His saving Grace

There is no power on earth that can alter even one moment of my rebirth

No one or spirit can take away the Joy my Lord has graciously given me

Jesus gave me freedom from that old self, that once enslaved me

Praise You my soul for You are Worthy of all Praise

Every day you give me breath I will sing Your Praises

Amen

In these troubled days

In these troubled days I can no longer ignore the beginning of the prophecies of the great tribulation, and the unleashing of God’s wrath

The uncontrollable bush fires of Australia, to the outbreak of the Chinese coronavirus outbreak, killing many but also spreading to other countries

Swiftly followed by Biblical plague proportions of Locust swarms masses the size of cities in East Africa

Warning signs have been presented for all to see or ignore, with humans been given over to “strange flesh” as quoted in the Bible

With Gay parades flaunting rainbow coloured flags, men and women openly kissing their own sex

False teachers who spread a perverted gospel, the twist or alter the words of God to appeal to those who don’t even think themselves sinners

These false teachers tickle the ears of those sinners with promises of “Your Best Life Now” preaching, with no mention of repentance

Instead promises of great wealth is flaunted with some of these false preachers wading through piles of banknotes, while demanding of God “Money Right Now”

All the while they are supposedly preaching, they gain the wealth for these selves

The wolves are no longer at our doors, they are devouring the flock, not only by stealing money, but also robbing the flock of any hope of salvation

For they are not taught about the need, they are never told they need to repent, they don’t even know they worship false gods

The evil one has already devoured many and enslaved many more, for he knows his time is short and attempts to take as many as he can, with him in vain hopes there is safety in numbers

For there will be so many of us humans who the evil one has surrounding himself with for when the final judgement is given

Christians be Vigilant

Dear fellow alwways Christians be Vigilant, as the enemy is suttle when it suits his purpose

This is a “Warning” which I was going to use as the title, but chenged my mind

I am in earnest reporting this event from my own recent experience, as I was totally off guard, just casually looking onlne

When a small item popped up about Jenny Agutter, which stirred up a long forgotten memory of her in a film called “Walkabout”

Which aroused my curiosity enough to search for the film, in which she featured brifly topless and later on in a long distance shot her fully nude

Even thoough this would be considered tame be today’s Standards, that memory was enough to entice me towards indulging in the sinful act of lust

Thankfully the Holy Spirit was stronger and I turn away from the temptation, and the Holy Spirit lead me to a rebuking video

Praise the Lord!

False Freedom

I have over the years watched many videos, some with those who claim to have been a Christian and then for assorted reasons “Broken free” their words

They attract many comments from others who have chosen what I call a false freedom

So who am I that I dare to call their seemingly new freedom false?

I am someone who had thought I was a Christian, not because of my parents although they were married in a church along with marriage vows

But rather through Sunday school attendance (which I was told about later on in my life

Sometime later when attending a local school, where they read passages from the Bible every morning along with

I have over the years watched many videos, some with those who claim to have been a Christian and then for assorted reasons “Broken free” their words

They attract many comments from others who have chosen what I call a false freedom

So who am I that I dare to call their seemingly new freedom false?

I am someone who had thought I was a Christian, not because of my parents although they were married in a church along with marriage vows

But rather through Sunday school attendance (which I was told about later on in my life

Sometime later when attending a local school, where they read passages from the Bible every morning along with Christian Hymns

In those days I had no reason to doubt any of the stories which were read, even though it wasn’t until the readings began in the New Testament

That I and other pupils were introduced to Jesus, even from the beginning of His story, I was totally enthralled with His character and words

In those simpler days, I was a true child of God, never doubting

But as I aged towards the teenager age, fleshly desires grew stronger and began to weaken my belief

Further on as the desires gained stronger hold, the enemy used others to spread his lies

One being that Jesus was gay since He only mixed with men including His disciples

This thought sidetracked me so well that I began to think I must also be gay too, adding yet another dark and perverted path for me to wander onto

This was well before the current “gender confusion” and the idea that you can choose and alter your own gender, whatever gender you may have been born

What I and others didn’t stop to think about, is the fact every child is the product of two parents, one male, and the other female, so it’s little wonder that we might feel a stronger attraction towards the opposite to which we were born

I like many others I invited excuses (Lies in disguise) “I’m only human, I need some pleasure in my life” “I’m not hurting anybody” “It’s my body, and nobody else’s business what I do” and many more other excuses

 

Christmas without Christ

This year of 2018 is fast on its way out and for many Christmas day is fading memory of opening presents and overindulging in all ways possible

Without a single thought to who this day would not be a day of celebration, for without Jesus Christ there would be no Christmas day

Whatever say you believe He was born, December 25th or earlier in the year as Jehovah Witnesses teach, the day in the past was called the Mass of Christ

As the Hymn goes” Every day you give me breath I will sing your praises” so in effect every day can be Christmas day

Christmas day is way more than opening presents or even regretting spending too much money

Even though most people theses say Merry Christmas, it was and still should be a day of Celebrating the birth of Jesus

The singing of carols became an important part of Christmas, and in their way are praise songs, and even before the big day many churches held carol services

They also held street corner carol services as the Salvation Army has done for many years

Let us not grow cold or be persuaded to proclaim the good news of the extra special day, but instead, raise our voices in joy and hope and bring the spirit of joy and happiness to those who may not have yet heard the real reason for Christmas day

A Closer Walk With Thee

“Just a Closer Walk With Thee” is the title of a well known spiritual song going back many years in the pop music industry and a song that has been sung by many singing artists

As Christians, we are called to grow more like Christ as we are followers of Christ

Meanwhile, the rest of the world is speeds off in all sorts of directions, (away from God) the directions include creating humanized robots, such as the much published Artificial Intelligence Robot Sophia (“godhead” simulation

While scientists have been desperately trying to get the aging process to be recognized as a disease and who are striving for eternal life by working to find a cure or at least slow the aging process down

At some point soon the will attempt to redesign our DNA, (if they haven’t already started tampering

As with other forms of genetic tampering, the likelihood of mutants is surely a strong possibility

The X-Men film characters come to my mind as they were all mutants, although a fictional film perhaps it’s a foretaste of humans future if DNA tampering continues

Saul who later became Paul came to believe that Christ rising from the dead was the greatest of all miracles, which also promised us Life eternal

Meanwhile, the supposed Mother church is so reinventing it’s teaching, it very well may soon become unrecognizable, it has already agreed with the world Adam & Eve story is fictional

While busily encouraging and embracing other religions in an attempt to bring in a one world acceptable belief

The mother church has now accepted evolution as fact, but under Gods direction all of these things make me wonder if the mother church has become aware of their power of authority slipping away from them, so they are now struggling to regain control by appealing to the masses

So what of present-day Christians? Are we to become so tarnished by the world that Christ is not seen through our very being?
