He is Risen

Hallelujah

While the world celebrates Easter as a self-indulgent time of what was in the past called gluttony, Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ

“Pick up your cross and follow me” means denying oneself and committing to a life focused on serving God and others, even if it involves personal sacrifice and hardship that come with being a follower of Jesus

Die to yourself

Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

He has given His all for this sinner as I, may I live every day of my life consecrated to serving You, Oh Lord, willingly picking up my cross and dying to myself in humidity

In quiet prayer, may my words of praise be pleasing to Your ears

May my songs of praise contain my heartfelt gratitude
